In my experience, wearing an anarkali or frock suit may not be the best choice for this event. However I have found wearing a intricate salwar kameez or patiala salwar suit is the more acceptable choice when attending a rokha.

Rokha is an event where the girls parents and boys parents officially agree on the couple to get married. This event maybe either public,in a hall/restaurant, or held privately in ones home/between the immediate family.
